Our story

Young people are more than what has happened to them.

3Trees Okanagan is a registered Canadian charity founded in 2023. Our mission is to help youth impacted by sexual abuse build the lives they want through specialized therapy and meaningful connection.

Our mission

Remove barriers to trauma-informed care by offering no-cost, nature-based therapeutic summer camps for youth and their non-offending caregivers. Grounded in clinical research. Built around connection.

Our approach

3Trees combines evidence-based therapy with the resilience-building power of summer camp. We work with young people aged 13 to 18 and the adults who care for them. The program addresses mental health challenges while building the connection and belonging that research shows are the strongest predictors of recovery from trauma.

Our beliefs

Trauma does not happen in isolation. Healing should not either. Young people deserve the right support at the right time. Families deserve access to evidence-based care regardless of what they can pay. And every young person deserves to be seen as more than what has happened to them.
