Partner questions

Common partner questions.

What's included in a Cedar corporate partnership?

A $15,000 Cedar partnership funds a full scholarship for one youth and their caregiver. In return, your organization receives logo placement on our website and annual report, recognition at community events, a co-branded social media feature, a dedicated impact report after the camp, and a personal thank-you from Dr. Pia Pechtel.

Are partnership benefits negotiable?

Yes. We treat each corporate partnership as a conversation. If your organization needs custom reporting, specific event recognition, or a unique engagement model, we can design it together.

How do you measure program outcomes?

We use quantitative measures (mental health symptoms, social connectedness, resilience, parent-child communication) tracked before, after, and one month post-camp. Our research team at UBC Okanagan and the University of Exeter conducts the analysis. We also collect qualitative feedback from youth and families.

Can my foundation receive a full due diligence package?

Absolutely. Our grant officer hub on this page has financials, board list, program overview, and published research. For additional documentation or custom requirements, email info@3treesokanagan.ca and Dr. Pia Pechtel will respond within two business days.

Do you accept restricted gifts for specific program components?

Yes. Gifts can be restricted to the equine program, arts and music initiatives, caregiver workshops, or the research partnership. Restricted gifts are tracked separately and reported on specifically.

Is 3Trees registered as a charity in the United States?

3Trees is a Canadian registered charity. We are not currently registered with the IRS in the United States. American donors may still give through our Canadian platform but should consult a tax advisor about cross-border tax implications.
